Hyundai is taking a new approach to summer by releasing the dates for the famous Surfer Groms Comps. The national series will consist of 10 events in 2022, hitting the coastlines of every state and providing a pleasant and welcoming start to surf competition. The Woolworths Surfer Groms Comps provide for little, micro groms (U/8) to big youngsters (U/14) of all skill levels, and the goal is to provide a fun, yet competitive environment.

As an extra bonus, the Under 14 boys’ and girls’ division champions from each event will be invited to an all-expenses-paid three- day Woolworths Surfer Groms (2-day coaching clinic, 1 day of competition, and heat analysis) at the Surfing Australia High-Performance Centre.

Due to the enormous amount of competitors entering each event of the Hyundai Surfer Groms Comps, entry openings for each event will be staggered on different days to provide participants the greatest chance to participate in events within the series

Each event’s entrance opening times will be staggered; however, to avoid misunderstanding, all entry opening times will be based on the local time in the relevant state.
